Follow the sheeptracks by following the way of love

This site calls followers of Jesus Christ to find a relationship with God the Father, through the Son, by the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe the one called Jesus Christ in English is Immanuel described by the prophet Isaiah, also known as Yeshua HaMashiach in Hebrew (Isaiah 7). We believe that faith in Him is the key to overcoming all fear and evil in this world by following the way of His love for all humanity to a place where the love itself drives out all fear and overcomes evil with good.

With the man-made systems of this world spiraling out of control we can no longer count on politics and empty religion that exists to serve itself only, to come up with solutions that work. This site shares wisdom and revelation on how to find the narrow path leading to eternal life, by following the example of the good shepherd who lays down his life for his sheep. The love itself brings forth answers to problems that may appear to have no other solutions. It can give way to miracles and victory over all evil at the hand of Almighty God. Not even death in this world can hold back the fullness of God’s plans for our lives in His coming Kingdom, when we embrace the call. A big part of the journey is learning to put first things first.

Jesus said “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness” (Matthew 6:33). He quoted Moses when He said the first and greatest commandment is this: “Hear O Israel: the Lord your God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your mind and with all your strength” (Mark 12: 29-30: Deuteronomy 6:4-5). From the perspective of putting those two things first, the second most important commandment has its greatest effect “Love your neighbour as yourself.”

On the other hand there’s a point where the things of this world threaten to replace the love with growing frustration at so many trials. Chief among them are political battles now raging in our nations, academia run amok to the point where freedom of thought and expression are seen as problems rather than worthy ideals, and a kind of pseudo-religion that looks like the true gospel but turns out to be more like a pyramid business scheme with a select few at the top. It all serves to kill the love of God as expressed through the cross of Jesus Christ, so that anything else believers attempt to do in His name proves to be futile. As 1 Corinthians 13 says, if we are not motivated by love it’s all for nothing.

Jesus taught about the solutions by using the analogies of sheep and shepherds (John 10). He said “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” He does so out of love, not a desire for self-advancement at the cost of their well-being.

He also said “I was sent only for the lost sheep of Israel” (Matthew 15:24). In doing so He pointed out that one of the core purposes of His ministry was to facilitate the fulfillment of God’s purposes for Israel and the Jewish people. Isaiah 60 says they are destined to return to their homeland and possess it forever. The full gospel includes understanding that a deepening revelation and experience of God’s love through Jesus Christ includes coming into agreement with this, and learning how the overcoming Church fits in His sovereign plans for our nations.
